I just wanted some advice on signs of a heart murmur. I often participate in high heart rate activities and about a year ago I had a strong quick pain in my chest. I assumed it was just due to the fact my heart rate was in the high 100's. But a few days ago I had the same thing happen under the same situation. It lasts for only like half a second. Is this just due to the fact I always have a high heart rate when I get these sharp, short pains? Also, the reason I am in this forum is because my grandma on my dads side has a heart murmur her whole life and I have heard they are genetic. Is there any signs of having a murmur or can only tests determine one?
