Did you experience any sexual encounters while on your trip? If so, were you using protection?

Hmmm. you might want to go to a dermavenerologist ... a skin doctor who specialises in diagnosing STDs. Seems likely that you either have an STD, allergic reaction, or other skin problems...you'll need a diagnosis!

Yes i shall have to see a doctor.Blotches are continuing to spread down my leg.My skin, primarily where my body hair is,tends to be very itchy. However, where the rash and blotches are there is no itching.

Yes i had my tests on monday 28th and took about 5 hours.I had blood tests, swab test, a type of biopsy urine test and generally given advice and guidance.I was given aids blood test.(really cant see how i have this}.However, the doctors seem quite convinced i have syphilis. The signs are qiute typical of the disease.Furthermore, i did ask the recent person i had sex with, which would have been, 2 weeks ago if she has had any std.To my surprise she texted me back and admitted she had syphilis 10 years ago.She started treatment but stopped it.So it must be in the latent stage because it must still be in her body.So now i have to wait.I dont feel very proud of this i have a 15 month son and i just pray she has not got hiv.I suspected syphilis disease from Thailand. If just one person can learn from my mistake then that will be worthwhile.Meanwhile i feel like a leper and brought shame upon my son.I wish for the best on Monday and willm inform of the results.

No need to feel shame! Sexuality is healthy!!!

Listen, modern medicine can work wonders for you. Kudos for checking it out and following your instincts. It's important now that you take care of yourself. Let us know what treatment options your doctor gives you ... there might also be additional alternatives you can investigate.
