Q: Tattoos

This morning Nick and I were talking about tattoos. I have an anchor and a nautical star on either of my hips, and I came up with the idea of (when I have the money and get skinny again, which will NOT be soon) making it into a oceanic scene with a huge octopus grabbing my anchor and the tenticles going up my side. I'm not sure what I would do with the other side, but when it comes to me I will post about it :]

a moose and a martini? wanna explain that?

I know youve already had tats done Kaite but really think about it all and maybe even have someone draw it on and wear it for a few days b4 getting it permanently done. I def. wish i would have thought more about my first one and i love my scorpion but it i had taken the time to think about it it would b bigger and more detailed. i think octopuses are yucky lol. they gross me out like squids.

I wouldn't know what it looked like before I got it done if it was just drawn on me. It would take a LOT of sessions. Autumn (mine and Nick's artist) does some insane artwork. I trust her.

Just to warn you...they are addicting.

And you will be scared your first time. You will feel not scared and then you will feel really scared. And then you will feel not scared again.

yep tattoos can be painful. They say that it gets numb after awhile and I can tell them now that they are liars. I have had at least 10 hours of work done on various parts of my body and they all hurt.

Katie - I love your ideas, it sounds awesome! Do you have any patterns put together?

I was supposed to get my blue and gold macaw finished this month, but Im pregnant so that has to wait. That sucks too cause we only needed one or two more sessions. My next tattoos are going to be my shoulders. I am going to get what they call a quarter sleeve done on each arm. That way I can still cover them up for work. My mom is a really good artist so she is going to draw me some patterns of roses. I cant wait for that.

Sorry so long, I just love talking about tattoos! Oh yeah, they are addicting. You will only want more.

Lol well, I have quite a bit of work done, and i'm STILL scared everytime. My entire back is covered, but only about 1/3 of the way colored and honestly I think it hurt way worse than labor haha. I would have been having more color done this spring but, pregnancy is putting it off (I'm sort of glad) ^^
