my poor baby!!! she has been trying sooooo hard all day to push this pooh out!!! Sad

We've given her heaps of water, a warm bath, rubbed her belly, put her on her belly, everything we could think of.

Any other suggestions?? Please!! we are starting to get upset now, we just feel so helpless!!

no!! but what is gripe water and can you get colic drops from the chemist??

since i wrote the post she has managed to dirty 2 nappies, not alot but its a start!!
Smile I would have thought she would have been exhausted after that but she didnt want to lie down. We just sat her up in her pram and she flaked it!!

I've never been so excited to see a crappy nappy before.....it was like winning the lottery!!!LOL

I know this is a little late, and hopefully she is all better now. But, we had this problem with Cheyenne. We changed her formula and we haven't had this kind of trouble since. You might try that, unless of course you are breastfeeding.

a friend of mine had the same problem with her baby and she changed her formula.

We brought some drops for her to take yesterday to soften up her pooh. It worked but she was still a little unsettled last night. I had to hold her for most of the evening. As soon as i would put her down she would cry again. She's had about 5 hours sleep and she went down pretty easy just then so hopefully everything will be ok today. At her next feed we will give her some more drops and see how she is then!!
