Restless Knee Syndrome
Posted: 04-27-04 21:43pm

Hi,
i am so frustrated about my leg and knee pain. I read the symptons of restless knee syndrome and it sounds like my symptons. However, my doctor has already given me celebrex, sleeping aids, propoxyphene, darveset, etc and nothing really seems to help, however, I wasnt taking it on a daily basis....I hate to take pills. I just took them on an "as needed" basis.\
they have done all the blood tests for arthritis and thyroid problems....Everything looks fine. They are doing a bone scan this week. Are there any special tests that could be done to test for restless knee syndrome? He is considering sending me to a chiropractor? Would that help my knees? I have having no swelling in my ankles but some swelling in my knees.
I have a right arm muscle cramp about every 2 days and my jaw swells up like I have tmj syndrome (mostly when I have stress, eat lots of m&m's(smile) or mow the lawn, etc)
i thought maybe my muscles are deteriorating since I have so many symptons. I am in sales and drive alot daily. My dad had bad circulation and leg problems as well.
Help...My doctor and orthopedic are puzzled....Any suggestions?
The pain and sleeplessness is getting unbearable.
Thx lmo
