Q: scratching myself causes tingling elsewhere

Sometimes if I scratch myself in my arm or leg, I will have a tingling sensation somewhere else in my body at the same time, like in an area of my back or somewhere else. I know you are thinking that is crazy, but it's true. I have sensitive nerve endings, I guess. My question is: Does anyone else experience that???

Can't say that i've ever experienced that......
But i think you may have posted this in the wrong forum.
Not sure an adoption forum is the best place to ask about scratching problems.

big sis,his question is in a neurological forum, not an adoption forum. You may want to check to see if by chance, you made a mistake

evobabe....yep...have something similair.

A lot of times, I would itch, right. Then, when I scratch the itch, it's almost as if my brain goes..."Nope, made a mistake" and the itch would move to some other part of my body (Usually my back) but still remain at the original spot as well...like it is there but not really there...

Then, when I scratch my back (where the itch moved to) all of a sudden both itchy spots disappear. It's weird.

I would also like to know, out of curiousity, what this is...
