is there anyway to set your log out time for longer?? it is frustrating when i spend half an hour typing to help someone or myself and i go to post/reply and it takes me to the log in screen. if i click back on my browser it doesn't take me to my reply. it just disappears. i'm on mac platform... browser is current safari version.

thanks!!!

tech help for you
my log in does not log out but I have not typed for half an hour either. Data is what I do. Maybe if you are typing a very long and thought out reply you should type your reply in a word processor program then copy and paste it into the forum. What kind of word processor do mac platform users use?

thanks
that's a good idea.

it depends on the user... i have a few word processor apps; text edit, microsoft office (microsoft word), adobe creative suite (inDesign for that package) and one that comes with my imac but i don't use it.

one trick i use, if i could just remember to do it every time... ugh, is to type my post/reply as usual then copy text in case i've timed out. then i can log in and paste my copied post/reply and submit.

thanks for the reply.. how long is it before it times out??

I'm a Mac person...
I have no idea how long it takes to time out. I'm on a Mac with Safari also and have spent a while logged in before, but it never timed out. I have no idea how long I was on, though. I guess it was less than 30 minutes.

BTW: I use Adobe CS2 products! We must be in the same line of work. (Not that I have a real job, though.) Wink

Especially eHealthy
There's some issues with the server at EHealth or something, things taking too long. They're working on fixing it.

You could always (in the meantime) type your response in word or something and paste it into ehealth. I don't know that much about computers, though.
