Hello,

I have a rash that looks like pityriasis but it is not itchy. I was wondering if somebody else is experiencing this with no itching? Or maybe it is something else...

Thanks

I have a case of PR that is 2 weeks old now and there is very little itching. When there was just a few spots it was not itchy at all, but now it is somewhat annoying. I just started with using a tanning bed and I think that is helping. If you haven't had a doctor take a look at it you should do that, to rule out something that could and should be treated.

I can't believe there is not more information on this dang rash. Mine started the weekend after I won the battle over the worst cold I have ever had. My herald is next to my belly button. ONE MONTH LATER I broke out everywhere and now want to peel off my skin. Every day it is worse. I went tanning today, since that was the only thing my doc recommended, and broke out like crazy from the heat. I have it from head to toe and more spots like the herald spot are forming now, not just the small red spots, but the huge welted rings. I've seen the pics on the internet of truly horrid looking conditions, and I fear my rash is headed in that direction!! I am one month in, and will post how t progresses and hopefully soon starts to heal!
