I had a miscarriage in dec of 07 at 8 weeks prego. My body did everything and i did not have to have a d&c. I was told not to try again for 3 months. I know i am not pregnant 100% sure but i have not started my period yet. Can i start taking birth control now or do i have to wait for my period to start?

Yes you can start taking birth control right now as long as you know you're not pregnant. You do not have to wait for your period to start - However, because you are not starting during your period, you will need to use protection during sex for one week, just this once when you're first beginning.
