hello , i had to go tto the ER last night for some stomach pain. The checked my blood and gave me a xray of my stomach. MY labs came back normal , but my White blood cell count was at 20.1. They thought i might have an infection. The Dr then decided to have me drink this liquid and have a ct scan of my stomac/intestines. It too came back ok , but i was told that i have a Segmental Thickening of Sigmoid, and have ordered a colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy. Im 28 and im scared that i might have colorectal cancer. Can anyone tell me what the term i have means? please..

What other symptoms you were experiencing at that time?
Have you noticed a changed bowel patterns recently?
Was the pain accompanied with bloody diarrhea?
