Both of you need to be treated for chlamydia at the same time or you will pass it back and forth between the two of you. You more than likely have it again and it can cause you to hurt (its an infection!) and it can cause itching, etc.

If you go get treated before he does, WHERE CONDOMS!

No offense, but how did you get chlamydia if you are in a committed relationship? I would definitely be asking some questions.

im not sure, i could have gotten it at any time, there was a time at one point that we were seperated and i cant say what he did then or whatnot. i keep telling jaon to get tested and hes like i will. so hopefully he does it today cuz he has plenty of time cuz he works only half the day until the company is back.

they automatically test for them during the pap smears. And i went in due to problems with my IUD. I was overdue for a pap as well , the only time i ever had one was when i was pregnant.it never crossed my mind to get tested for any STD's nor did i think it through now lol. he still hasnt got tested i tell him everyday but soon they wil call him and make him go in. so its dumb cuz he prob gave it back to me now. but from now on i need to remember to get a pap yearly becuase when i was pregnant with my son i had abnormal cells in my cervix and after he was born i had a colposcopy done etc.

You can get it and have it for a while before you ever show symptoms. But you really need to make sure that he gets treatment because if you continue to catch it from him it can make it harder for you to conceive later on. It can be very damaging to your reproductive organs.

I would definitely get checked by a doc though just in case you have something else going on too.

You are at risk for PID (pelvic inflamatory disease) due to having untreated/reaccuring chlamydia. Your risk may be higher with an IUD inserted. Your health is actually at risk and you need to be treated before you become sterile or your uterus/tubes become scarred.

You can be treated - buy some condoms and make your husband wear them. If he isn't concerned about his own health and yours - he can wear the condoms.

If this is a concern, you can always speak to his C.O. and he'll be sure to get treated.

well see the condoms would be of no use now since its a lil late for that, and if he doesnt get seen they wil notify him to go in and be seen, cuz the guy said he has either 1 or 2 weeks to go in, thats jaosns theory, he has no symptoms therefore he must not have it, but i told him majority of men dont even show symptoms. Hopefully he goes tomorow though. because he doesnt work full days just half days . Ive told him about the complications etc and if he is passing it back to me etc. hes just sooo freakin hard headed, i had to almost beg him in tears to go to the dr when he was having anal bleeding and bad stomach cramps because he didnt think it was serious.

You both need to be treated at the same time!

Have him read this:

http://www.cdc.gov/std/Chlamydia/STDFact-C hlamydia.htm

Now you have it again. Now you need to go get treatment again. And if he isn't treated at the same time, you will get it AGAIN.

And if you make him wear condoms, guess what? HE'LL GO GET TREATED! Because no man likes condoms. If he did, you guys wouldn't be in this situation.

Condoms.

I'd refuse to sleep with him until he got it taken care of. I wouldn't knowingly subject myself to something that could affect me for the rest of my life because my husband thinks he doesn't have it. If you have it, he has it. Both of you need to be treated at the same time or it if ineffective. I'm amazed the doctor / nurse didn't tell you that.

You can have some sweet justice in the fact that he will be getting a giant Q-tip shoved down the shaft of his penis. Smile

He is afraid, that is why he isn't going. You need to make it uncomfortable for him - like it is for you. He should have more respect for you than to put you at risk like that.

Well hopefully you got him to go in! Best of luck to you!

If he avoids going again, i would go get tested to see if you have it, if you dont than he probably doest, and if you do he does, than you have a more sold reasion to make him go. Maybe for him, knowing that you have it will make him go in??

Guys are really stubern sometimes lol
