Q: Trichomonas diagnosis

I have been married for 6 years and have been diagnosed with trichomonas through a wet slide at the GYN. The doctor stated that this can be caused by cross contamination.

Should I be worried that my husband could be cheating?

Does anal sex/manipulation contribute to contracting/spreading trich?

Anal sex could contribute to it I believe. This can be prevented by using condoms during anal sex and never using the same bare appendage (whether a finger or penis or dildo) to go from anus to vagina.
