I've had two episodes of kidney stones and the urologist said my CT scan showed calcifications in my right kidney, also. He said they were basically harmless, but I don't know about your nodule. The adrenal glands produce adrenaline and are important to the body's stress response.

I would ask the doctor was effect the nodule has on your adrenal gland and whether it needs to be removed. Get all the facts before you get out of there and be sure to mention the severe pain you are having. Chances are you might still have sone small stones somewhere.

They told me to drink lots of water and avoid coffee, tea and cola-based soft drinks. Apparently, those products are high-risk for forming stones. Good luck with your appointment.

I agree with the above poster.

As for the kidney stones there are many things that can produce stones. First you need to find out what type of stones you are making. anything with oxalate is not good for people who form stones this also includes chocolate, beans, blackberries, nuts, strawberries, spinach, the list is very lengthy.
It's a fine line and a hard one to follow sometimes. Unfortunately some people are prone to stone formation.

As for the nodule, as lonestarguy mentioned check with your doctor, get another opinion if you are uncomfortable in any way with what your current doctor is telling you.

Good Luck Smile

All done!
So I had my surgery today, the doctor found that my urethra was collapsed, therefore causing th reoccuring infections and pain. He put a stent in that will stay for about 2 weeks. I am a little sore, but overall not too bad. Just tired.

Stents give you that feeling of urgency to urinate very often. Ask the doctor about Ditropan or another bladder medication to slow down the spasms from the stent?
The medication helps a bi.t

Thanks again. I am feeling a little better today, maybe just getting used to the stent being there. I am taking Ditropan to help with the spasms.

Glad to hear you are feeling a little better. Sometimes the Ditropan needs to be increased to get through this time with the stent.

Keep us posted..Smile
