diagnosed after clicking jaw and ringing in ears Posted: 01-22-08 16:54pm
ok, my jaw has been clicking for a month
and having pain and ringing in my ears.
Knew i had tmj but went to dentist to find
out how bad. They did some ridic tests
and charged me $270.
Said probably not related to the fact that
i had my 2nd to rear top tooth pulled last
year. Although I told them i rarely chew
on that side now.
They want to put me through a program for
half a year which includes muscle
analysis/a bite plate etc....
oh by the way its $5000.00.
How much for just the stupid bite plate
people??????????

well it really depends on your doctor. i
have had them made for as little as
150--that was probably the whole process,
materials , office visits etc. Im sure
that having your tooth pulled does have
someting to do with it--if not just
putting stress on the jaw.
