does anyone get back discomfort and tingling in shoulder blades with stress?

I think that's definitely common. People tend to "carry" their stress in different places.

Oh yes definitely. Stress makes you tighten your muscles causing them to work hard and they do wear out. Just imagine yourself holding onto something very tightly all day and then see how your hand feels. Just so the back holds tightly onto that stress and doesn't let go.

I would imagine the tingling in the shoulder blades might come from lack of circulation...our muscles get a lot of the blood flow and hence oxygen from their movement.
