Ok im almost 18 and im getting married soon but i still live wit my mom and im pregnant. We're tyrin to get our own place but it will probably take a while before we can. Im going to the health department tomorrow to make sure everything is alright but i have to tell my mom soon because she wants to go buy my wedding dress this weekend. What is the best way to tell my mom?

Sit down with her when you are alone and calmly tell her you are pregnant. Be prepared because she might not be ready for it. So tell her how you have things planned out. What you plan on doing about the wedding, and about the baby arrangements, etc.

Maybe you could have a smaller wedding and save some of that money to move out?

How soon is the wedding? Are you worried that the dress will not fit right?

Why will she be mad? You are almost married already, and this is a planned baby. You must have thought about her reaction while you were consciously trying to get pregnant, right? Has something changed where you think she might get upset now, but she wouldn't have been upset previously?

i would just sit her down and tell her straight up
theres really no way to say it other than "im pregnant" because her reactions going to be the same

Are you excited? because I think the solemn Im pregnant sounds like Im sorry to have to tell you this. If your excited do it in a cute way by calling her grandma or getting a "I love my grandma" shirt or something so shes sees your happyand she might be happier.

well like they have said it all depends on how you feel i mean honestly yes you are young but your legal so its not like your under age.. i agaree with dani if your happy find a happy exciting way to tell her if your not then just sit down with her and talk to her.. seeing as how you are engaged she shouldnt be to upset i meen its not like your 16 and not ready for a camitment with the father cause well your already there.. so be honest with your fills and it will change the way she feels...

im having a hard time with this too.
i havent told my parents yet.
their divorced, so i plan on taking my mom, dad and step mom out to a restaurant or coffee and tell them then. Most likely next week HOWEVER, my mom and i are going out to see a movie this friday, and my mom has this really scary sense where she knows when something is up before it even happens..must be a mom thing, im sure i'll find out what its like when my child is born. But im nervous that she'll ask and get really pissed off, i hope that wont happen cuz i dont see my mom very often and things just started getting a little better with all my parents..i hope the news i tell them doesnt set us all back though...

My mom had no clue until she went snooping though my diary. Jacob told his mom the day we found out.

Laughing wow that was smooth

travis went and told his mom when she came home from work one day. it was about a week after we found out. i was working at the mall and he came and picked me up. when we were on our way home i was like dude. DONT tell your mom yet. i want to tell both of our parents at the same time"
and he was like ok ok i wont
well he decided when she got home from work i was sitting upstairs and he goes "im telling my mom"
"noooo travis!!!!!!!!!!!"
and i sat up here and he went down there
15 seconds later i hear...what? how did you know Laughing

his mom "guessed" it
i hadnt had my period for 2 months so i guess that was a givin LOL

awww my sis told my dad and step mom christmas morning that she was. she got a shirt for step mom that says "what happens at grandmas stays at grandmas" lol and a baby bib for dad that says "i love grandpa" I think it is a mothers intuition to know when their daughter is pregnant. Cause my step mom was like "i already knew but i was just waiting for you to tell me" Also someone told me (i can't really remember who......) but they told me that when a girl gets pregnant she kinda walks differently. It's not noticalble to other people but to like the mom it is.
