I have read these kind of posts a million times over the past few days but still need to write my own for my own sanity!

I have very regular 28 day cycles. My partner and I tried to concieive three times during my most fertile days (day 14 /15). I am now 5 days late for my period and all the usual questions are bombing round my head. I have done 3 negative HPTs:(

I didn't think I had a chance of being pregnant until my period was late and now I don't want to get my hopes up. Over the past 8 days, I have had extremely disrupted sleep patterns, I go to sleep and then wake up 3 hours later buzzing and unable to go back to sleep. I also am not eating as much as usual and get full really easy. Today, the smell of garlic made me gag. Finally, I have felt as though my period is coming for about 5 days now- not the same cramps but similar pressure/ tugging around my lower abdomen.

Is there any chance that 3 negative HPTs might be wrong? My period is never late, although I have just come back from a long-haul holiday - maybe that has something to do with it. What are the chances my HCG levels wouldn't be detectable by now?

Put me out of my crazy mind!

Thanks

late period;negative HCG x3
My husband & I have been ttc x14 months. I have been on Clomid x4 months. My periods are extremely regular every 28 days. I am currently on day 33 and have taken 3 HPT with all negative results. My OBGYN recommended that I come in for a blood test. The results will be back tomorrow. Apparently stress is a factor. But I have been stressed for most of my life and I have never missed a period. I suggest going in for blood test. It will give u a definitive answer. Good luck Suzanne
