Your 17 almost 18. Of course your going to be scared and lonely and all kinds of other emotions to go with it! But dont stress it darlin, things will work out soon. You shouldnt be scared to tell your family and friends. You cant take it back so you might as well smile and be proud to be having a little one. Your mom will be hurt but she will be there for. She will be the closest to you. Its a mother bonding thing that goes on. You might be judged but not hated. Its not your fault. If the fathe doesnt believe you then let him go for now. He will either come around and be there for you, or you can stop contact with him and just hit him with child support! Haha j/k. Your courage and hope now is your little one. You are 17? Well honey, for all tense and purposes you are an adult. Many people dont know this but 17 1/2 years old you can force the state to recognixe you as an adult. Use the recources around you. Start with the white pages. Listen up, the very beginning of the white pages are your government listings. Use them.That's what they are there for. Even if you are not sure. Next, get medical attention. Take your prenatal vitamins. Don't overeat, rather eat like normal but healthy. (i.E. 3 sqare meals a day.)
about the boyfriend. I'm not making any judgement calls. What you need to do is get him to sign the birth certificate. Give the baby his last name and there is a form concerning paternity. Get him to sign it. If he signs this form it prohibits him from contesting paternity in court. If you believe he will never sign it relax. His mother is the key tell her, in the nicest most innocent way that you are going to have her grandchild. Even if she calls you a prostitute who is just trying to trap her son, when it comes the day of the birth, she will make him sign that form because she will have had several months to think ab0out it and she will realize that she won't get to see her grandchild unless she makes good with you.

First off, let me say that every woman has it somewhere in her to be a wonderful mother, and that as soon as you see your baby as a blessing you will know what to do. I'm 19 and pregnant, but me and the father are still together, but he says if I don't get an abortion he wont have anything to do with me or my baby. But im not worrying about him. Your baby's father is just as scared and upset as you are, he is just handling it differently. Most men will say anything during the first trimester to get you to have an abortion. They want to make you feel awful, so you wont want the baby. But i'm pretty sure that once you pass the mark where you can't get an abortion he will be singing another tune. He just needs time to let it all sink in. Im hoping that my babys father will come around and I think you should just hope for the best but dont count on anyone but yourself. Having him in the baby's life would be nice, but you are perfectly capable of doing it on your own. A lot can change in 9 months, so many feelings can go through your head and his. Just give it time and keep your head up.

I just want to tell you that I was in your position was I was 17. You have to tell someone that you can trust. You have to review your choices and figure out what you want to do. I made the wrong decision. The most loving thing you can do is go through this pregnancy and give it up for adoption. You have a lot ahead of you. You need to find all of your strength and be strong. When I told my friends some of them were not supportive at all but some where. And those people are still my friends today. You have been made to officially grown up. Well I have a situation kind of like that. Im 17 also and I think i'm pregnant but I have so many problems with knowing if I am or not. I took like four home test and two was positive. Then we have this free prgnancy center called hope I went there and it was negative. My parents are ministers so you should know how bad I feel but I had to go to the doctor I told my mom at the doctors office and she wasn't mad at all b/c she knew that I had sex so I got some blood taken and it was negative but I know my body and i've been really sick everyday so now my doctor is testing me for all kinds of stuff, so now i'm really confused I wonder if the blood test could be wrong b/c my mom said when she got blood taken to find me they had to do it like four times to find me in her blood. The other thing is I have been starting my period for the last 3 months but it only lasts for 3 days and some people say you can have periods when you're pregnant. Will you tell me some of your symtoms when you first thought you were thanks and tell your parents b/c I know if I could you can parents know that things happen.

When I first fell pregnant I was 16 and the father wanted nothing to do with me or the baby and moved to another state when he found out I was pregnant. My parents were there for me, but I lived alone and got through it. I am now 29, my little girl is 13 happy and healthy. It was very hard, and still is, child rearing is never easy even at 29. Be prepared for some tough times girl, but it will make you a stronger person in the end I promise. Do not give up ! Find some good friends, join a mothers group, anything, try to have supportive people around a lot, it helps, you won't feel so alone.

The father wanted nothing to do with me called me a liar too. But let me encourage you. While I was pregnant I met a wonderful man who loved me and my unborn child...... Today he is considered my daughters father and we have a 3 year old boy and another child on the way... The child I was pregnant with when I was 17 is now almost 6 years old and the joy of my life. Her sweet smile melts my heart. It all worked out for me hun. I believe that all things happen for a reason.... Stop take a deep breathe, call your local health department or w.I.C office and find out what resources are available to you.... There is help out there. I promise. Turn to your family or church or an adult who you confide in... And hey!!! Enjoy your pregancy. I know you can't tell now but this child is a blessing.

Well i've been kinda of curious as to wither or not I could be pregant. I mean I was a month late on my period and when I did start it lasted 3 days longer then usual and I spotted 2 days after I finished. Sometimes I wake up feeling nausa and I have to pee alot more then usual I mean if I stand up for a long time I have to pee like every 20 mins. And not only that its onlycertain food that gross's me out. Sometimes I feel soo tired and other days I feel sick I took 2 pregancy tests and they came out negative the nurse told me to a blood test to make sure cause they're more accurate, but I haven't gone i'm scared. How did u find out u were pregant? Did u feel different or did u feel like theres was nothing wrong with you? Please let me know

Mari, I know when I am pregnant because I get really sore boobs about 3 weeks after conception, I am at 6 weeks now and have been feeling nauseas and I am quite turned off chocolate or cake at the moment. Usually you would'nt keep me away from the stuff. I have also been getting really tired and wanting to sleep a lot more. You may be pregnant even with a period type bleed, but only a blood test will give you 100% peace of mind. My sister had period type bleeding all the way through her last pregnany and had a healthy girl. At the same time you may not be pregnant. So keep your chin up, and get yourself off for a blood test. Im 17 too...And I found out recently that I aam 7 weeks. Parents are different when it comes to these kinds of things. Ease up to him and try to get him to have a serious conversation with you. When I told my mom she was angry with me and wouldnt talk to me for a day...But then it hit her that there is no reversing it and that abortion was out of the question. If your dad doesnt belive you just take an at home pregnancy test and show him...My mom didnt believe me either so I did that and she believed it right away...Hope I was some help....Oh and my friend told me that when the baby is born feed it rice-cereal from gerber (its baby food and looks like mashed potatoes) before you but it to bed and it will wake up less then if you were to just put it to bed with formula.
