ok guess who cost me $60 yesterday--yep peeve----i had to make an atm deposit so i unlocked the back door of my car so that when peeve was scratching at the window and locked the front door i could still get in. well as fate would have it he steped on the electronic lock button and locked the whole car. so i had to call a locksmith and have him unlock the door. poor little guy inside was so upset that i couldnt get in. he was in there whining and barking. he finally gave up and went to sleep on the chair.

OMG! Poor little guy! When I bought my new car it came with OnStar, which I had connected for that exact reason!

Hehe...even tho my current car does not allow you to lock your car without the keys, I still follow the golden rule of "Never leave your car without your keys!" Wink If I had a R (or rather $ in your terms) for every time I had locked my keys in my old car....

My current car also has a very neat trick...for children and "Hyper Intelligent" pets such as Peeve Wink It has a double locking system which, if activated, you can't unlock the car from the inside...it's not like "child-lock"...if you are in, YOU ARE IN and the only way you can unlock it is if you have the key.

That stops kids and, as in your case, pets from "Accidentally" unlocking the car and go sight-seeing Wink

Soo, here is a picture of my brother's puppy and my pet chinchilla! They met over Christmas (when this picture was) and then again last weekend over Easter.

He is a Havanese. My brother is allergic to most dogs, so they got him because he's hypoallergenic. He is super sweet.

What type of flea/tick medication do y'all use? I put Frontline plus on both of mine and it seems to do pretty good and on the Gulf Coast we have horrible fleas. During the winter I only have to put it on them once every 8 weeks but during the summer I have to put it on every month. My dogs also spend most of the summer in the bay so naturally that will lessen the time between applications.

i plan on using frontline. i also am going to get him and all natural (herbal) flea collar. I found a good site for herbals for dogs.

Chinchillas are really soft too. I wanted one once upon a time---i just dont have any time anymore.lol

Keeping with the theme of Kirby (chinchilla) and dogs, here is one of him with a dog that we were dogsitting at the beach.

He loves puppies. He is never afraid to go up and sniff them and play with them.

ok not to switch off chinchillas, I have gotten Peeve---well Peeved at me. I took him in to get groomed yesterday, his coat was uneven cause we have one half adult coat and the rest was puppy coat still. so i told them to trim it down. now hes all skinny and I dont really like it--it will grow back. but peeve is now mad at me. last night he wouldnt let me touch him and he wouldnt sleep with me. Its like i took away his manhood. i feel so bad lol. hell get over it. i have another friend that said he had a shih-tzu that did the same to him.

I also had him trimmed down cause he got out and had a blast in the hay and mud puddles at my friends house.

Thanks! The kitten is a ragdoll. He is 9 weeks old now and weighs just under two pounds. The older kitten is a tabbycat who is 1 year old and weighs 15 lbs. They get along really surprisingly well. The baby likes to groom the older one and lick him all over.
