Q: pregnancy causing pain in side ?

My buddy said his girl woke up this morning with her side being sore. The way he explained it was it was able her hip on her right side but below her ribcage. She said that area was hurting and hurt her to move. Well later on in the day while they were eating she said her stomach started to hurt and it started to hurt for her to breathe. Now basically it is just her side hurting. He said they did have protected sex Tues and Thurs which is 4 and 2 days ago. Not sure of when they did before that though. I told him everything is fine but he was starting to worry some that she could be pregnant. Should he go get the morning after pill or is he just over reacting to basically nothing. She also has a stomach problem similar to acid reflux which acts up from time to time. Thanks

Anybody??? Actually she just found out it was a urinary tract infection but she is still getting headaches and her side still occasionally hurts. Funny story though, a doctor called from the immediate care center she went to and he had a foreign accent and he said she was positive for an infection but at first she thought he said 'conception'.

Tell him, if he doesn't want a baby he should wear condoms.

Pregnancy symptoms don't show up in a matter of days like that. It takes awhile. Usually by the time she misses her period. If he is worried, she can test for pregnancy 14 days after the unprotected sex.
