Ok,

kari, meg, crystal, you all need to look at me. Why do you think you are fat? If you are fat, then I must be a doing it whale! You all are so skinny! Meg, you are tooooo skinny! I really get bothered when you all post this type of stuff cuz it's like, when you look at yourself and all you see is skin and bones and you call that fat.....When the hell do you think when you look at me. And I know of a certain few girls who kinda think the same thing.

You girls are all beautiful! No reason to feel fat, ugly, or anything! I am so sorry you all have this problem. I've not had a lot of expierence with e/d since none of my friends before ya'll have had one. I try to understand and I am always here to listen, I just don't understand how you can say you are fat~ it's not even right. Kari~you are preggy and one of the smallest people i've ever seen that's preggo! Meg~not preggy and only skin and bones!!!!!!!!!!!! Crystal~you just had a kid. Give it time hunny! You'll lose any babyfat you have left and in my opinion you aren't fat! At all!
Come on girls. Lets be positive! You are all strong, beautiful women! You can beat this thing! And crystal, don't start it! It's too hard of a road to get home once you travel down it! Girls, you are all too strong for this~

Although I don't post as often as I used to this post caught my attention. I know how hard it must be for an onlooker of an e/d to comprehend how these girls/women can find themselves to be "fat" because to you they do not look it at all. However it's important to remember that those with e/d's have a warped image of their own bodies and what they see if nowhere near what you do. I do not believe that others post about feeling fat to make others feel bad about themselves however I can see how that can happen. Growing up I fought often with friends because they said the exact same thing: "if you think your fat then what do you think of me!". And to be quite honest I never once thought of them as being large (despite the fact that they may have been bigger then I was). Because to me they looked perfectly fine but when I looked in the mirror I saw a whale. I lost so many friends....They got so sick of my constantly thinking I was fat and they got tired of telling me to snap out of it....It became too frustrating for them...Which is understandable. For example right now I weigh 121 and i'm 5'6 and I feel disgusting...I refuse to look in the mirror. I don;t know what my purpose of responding to this was only to say that I never find myself judging others or looking at their weight because I am so pre-occupied with my own....

Hey
Oh god tanya no! I don't think they post to make others feel bad! We're a "family" here and they post for support! I didn't mean they did it to hurt anyone! Trust me none of those girls would do such a thing! No way! I just want them to know that they are not fat and wether they think it or not they are beautiful and if you wanna see fat. Look at a fat person not any of those 3 I named! I can't find fat on those girls!

I agree 100% with tanya, I never look at anyone and see them as fat or big or anything! Its just myself. I think that everyone around me looks very healthy and happy and I want that too and the only way I feel like I can be happy is by resticting. It may sound odd to you but I think this is just how my life is going to go. I praise those who have fully recovered and are doing great. I tried sooooooo hard but its just an ongoing battle that isn't worth the effort anymore!

Wink I can't promise anything but I will give it another shot tanya, its just depressing sometimes, lol call me crazy but I deliberatly change my scale to kms some days just to built confidence(the numbers are much small and I don't know how to calculate it into pounds! Lol) so I am not so doom and gloom! Lol

I have a better idea meg! Throw the scale away! I threw mine away! The only time I get weighed is when I go to the doctors....And I know its depressing...God do I ever know! I just had a huge relapse on my bulimia which I seemed to have under control for a good few months there. But what else do I have to do? I can't give up, its basically a death wish if I do. I just keep reminding myself that about 78% of bulimics die with their head over the toilet because their heart gives out....I never want to die that way I have way too many things to do in life to die in such a disgusting and shameful way.
