Hi, I want to go on the pill, and my gyno prescribed Alesse 28 for me. I'm a small woman so I'm wondering what side effects that it may have. Does anyone have an opinion on Alesse?

I'm a small woman and I have never had any adverse effects from hormonal birth control. Weight is not normally a factor in that.

hey im on alesse 28, and have been on it for about month. I havent had any strange side effects. they say most often you can feel a little sick to your stomach within the first three months of being on it while your body gets use to it. but they say if you are feeling a little sick while on it, that feeling will pass and you should not stop taking the pills. Alesse 28 i feel is a good pack to start with because it has 21 pink pills and then 7 reminder green pills that you take while on your period. where as i think the 21 day packs you stop once you get your period again and then start again when its over. which leaves you unprotected for about a week. but im not sure on that one.
