im 26 weeks pregant now and will be between 34 and 35 weeks when i go back homr to have my child.. i been told by one person that im an unfit mother to my unborn child because of this. just wondering what you guys think of it..
I was trying to plan a trip for my cousin and I and I learned that most airlines wont let you fly if you are over 6 months pregnant, at least thats what they told me.
You will have to get the OK to fly from your doctor any time you want to do it, and it isn't recommended if you are a high risk pregnancy to travel or fly while pregnant. But actually the 2nd trimester is the safest and best time to fly for healthy pregnant women, so fly during that time or plan a road trip for later.
i called the airline which i would be flying with if i get an ok from my doctor. they said i can fly up to 35 weeks after that i will need a doctors note indicating theres no sign of labor for the next 72hrs. The reason i want to fly then is so i can go home and be with my family. I moved here with my boyfriend so he can start his caree and his a pilot. but i have no family here other then him. and i only been for like 3 mths and i need my hrs from work so i can go on martinty to support my child. ill be flying to St.Johns which a will take about an hr flight direct or about 3-4 hrs if we take stop in st.Anothy and Deer lake and then st.John's. all of these places have hospital's. This is my first child and would like to be around family for help and support.
