Just wanted to drop a hello! Smile Been kinda in my own world trying to beat this anxiety, and now insomnia from the pills they have me on. I hadn't slept in almost 2 days it seemed like until they gave me some sleeping pills. I finally got some sleep, but now i have it in my head that i will never sleep again lol. And been having some anxiety about it. I feel like a complete psycho, and need to be put into a mental hospital cause i can't get my caca together. I'm hoping today will be a better day. I just really wanna be myself again, and not depend on meds to keep me sane, or asleep. Anyone else have any thoughts, or natural ways to help me sleep, and stay asleep. Or just just keep me sane! LOL.. I'm not even depressed. I have nothing to be depressed about right now, and really nothing to be excited about. I just want this to be over! Just looking for some help! Or just someone to talk to. I hope no one has ever felt this way cause it's horrible.

Oh man!! I'm soo sorry you're feeling like this!!! such a confusing feeling!!! Anxious && sleepy!!

I hope it's just the beginning effects of your meds, and it passes!!

I've never felt that way, but I can only IMAGINE!!!

I"m glad you're not feeling down!!

I wish I could help with the sleeping issue...maybe a hot bath and a book. Reading ALWAYS knocks me on my a ss!!! LOL!

Get exercise. Not only will this help with being 'tired' later - exercise also helps elevate moods. Walking is a great form of low impact exercise that everyone can do. Preferably outside in natural light. Natural light is good for moods as is are B complex vitamins!

Other things to help sleep are to keep the tv off in the bedroom - the light emitted from a tv messes with your natural sleep rythm. And the noise together will keep you in a state of light sleep.

Do not drink caffeine after 4pm. Have a BEDTIME and a WAKE TIME and stick to them. Keep sleep for the bedroom. If you take a nap in the afternoon, limit it to 20 minutes or just enough to get you by. If you continue to sleep more than an hour in the day, you can alter your sleep cycle enough that you won't need as much sleep at night and will continue with the waking.

Not sleeping suck! I hope you get some rest soon!

yeah it was lexepro. I stopped taking them. I'm not going to try and take care of two kids and have stupid insomnia. My mom took the kids last night again, and i got 8 hours of sleep! I still feel pretty tired, but i was able to fall asleep on my own finally. I hate taking pills. thanks for the comments Smile

Yeah i was the same way Suzy. That's pretty much why i couldn't sleep. I pretty much made myself think that i would never sleep again, and i wouldn't want to go to sleep cause i knew i couldn't. And i feel a lot of pressure to get some sleep while my fiance has the baby, so then i don't sleep. lol Oh well heres to a better day!
