I recently had my 5th child at the age of 41. My oldest was 24 and youngest 16 when this bundle of joy came. For the past two months I have been having a rapid heartrate and missed beats, sometimes my heart will skip off and on for an hour and I have to rest to make it stop.
I've never had problems with my blood pressure but two days after the baby was born it shot sky high and i've been on medication since. Now this is happening. I know there is such a thing as post partum hypertension and hyperthyroiditis but does it ever go away? I have lost 19 pounds in the last 6 weeks. I'm just ready to feel better. The baby is 6 months old now and I feel 60.
