Hi, i'm a 30 year old male who is experiencing heart difficulties. Does anyone know if it will be more difficult to get good life insurance if I get tests performed to see if I have any heart problems? I know everything is put into the computer which insurance companies can read. I live in the USA.

Hello, it's Tim again. Does anyone know if my life insurance rates will go up if I have any heart tests done??? Come on, I know someone can offer some feedback? I went to the Dr. about 5 months ago and talked her into an EKG and she swears that insurance companies will see that and now it will be more difficult to get life insurance. How can this be? She looked at the EKG read out for seriously 1 second and said it looked fine. I think I will look into seeing a new Dr. I am not a hypochondriac nor am I mental. I see the Dr. only about once a year for the cold or flu. Since seeing her, my symptoms have gotten worse. I really feel like my heart is going to stop beating one of these days as it even wakes me up at night. Its is odd, not sure what to do. I began taking a medication (for something unrelated to my heart) several months ago that caused my heart to pump harder and faster. Like a dummy I kept taking it even though I was getting chest discomfort. I thought I was imagining my heart beating faster and harder, or thought that maybe my body just needed to adjust. I have been off the meds for a month now and my heart symptoms are hjust getting worse. Never had any heart problems before this!! I am nervous that getting heart tests will raise my life insurance rates when there is a chance that it is the remains of the meds in my system that are causing these problems. Maybe they will go away in a few weeks. I am very nervous, I am too young to die. I am 30 years old.

Heart Test Performed
I'm a Licensed Life Insurance Agent in the USA. If I were you, I would get me a policy before I get the test completed. I do a lot of Jet Issued Policy, which means that the insurance company does not require a physical or any blood work nor a swab of your mouth. However, all carriers are going to conduct a MIB, which is a Medical Info Bureau Check. If you get a heart check up as a routine physical and there are know findings, then I do not see where that will cause you to be denied. I would at least get some Insurance, even if it's only a small Term Policy. You're still very young, so you can get a 30yr Term No-Smoking male $50k without any physical for around $18 per month.. If you're not wealth, everyone should have some life insurance, since we do not know our Death Date. You would not want to depart this earth and your loved ones will have to cry twice. Once because of your Death and again, because they can not afford to put you away properly. If you body become the ward of the state, it can take them 3-4months before you're put away.. Get something, even if it's only $10k for now, until you're financialy able to obtain more..

GET THE LIFE INSURANCE! I had a heart attack two years ago and even though there was "NO DAMAGE" to the heart, I am now Uninsurable! I have had a broker to try and find me life insurance ANYWHERE. NO ONE will insure me!
