Please help, I cannot find a female doctor easily that specializes in treatment and hopefulness.

I would like to find a female specialist in the midwest usa that can help with endometriosis and fertility.

Any references, search agencies, web-sites, facilities, etc… are greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

Finding Female Doctor
Call several obgyns in your area and ask for a referral. Consider, though, your reasons for wanting a female doctor. My sister had a woman because my sister is very shy, and she was scared to death when she needed a c-section and this female doctor had no bedside manner and did not reassure her. I found a wonderful male doctor, he is gentle and kind and answered all my questions and got me through a complicated pregnancy with bedrest and several hospital stays. My husband also connected with him on a personal level. Consider going to the maternity ward at your local hospital and asking the nurses who is the best, kindest, etc. Doctor in your area. When I did this all the nurses said this doctor. They work with these doctors and will know who is competent and nice. If you are nervous about the exams keep in mind that you can bring a friend with you to hold your hand.Good luck.
