Can anyone tell me if there are certain limitations that laser is not able to fix?

Any input would be helpful.

Hello Carrie,

I'm concerned that the terms "laser spine surgery" can give a false impression of what lasers can do. In reality lasers to my knowledge are really only used for "soft tissues", not bone. Though I know when I had knee surgery a number of years ago the doctor used the laser to "zap" a fragment of cartilage.

That I know Carrie does not really answer your question, but hopefully it helps clarify things a bit regarding lasers in spinal surgery.

I hope others can better answer your question.
