Ok so I'm waking up like a month/2 ago, my clock radio has prolly been playing music for about an hour, and then this Lenny Kravitz - I'll be waiting, comes on.. and I had the most intense, real, dream of my life! I'm still fully asleep at the time, but suddenly I can hear music, and it was like.. there was a music video for this song being created in a dream. And anyone that's seen the actual music video that came out like 2 days later.. just so you know ;p , my dream video was way better hehe. But any who, I wake up from my front door being slammed shut about 75% the way through the dream/song. So I don't get to see the rest, but it was just so REAL and like the .. angles and the storyboard I had laid out for this song, and I had never heard it till that day.

I wake up sweating like CRAZY, and trying to figure out what just happened because for once I had a dream and because of the abrupt waking I had 100% memory of the entire dream. I just don't get what happened there.

You were in a hypnogogic state (halfway between sleep and wakefulness) and your brain is very receptive to anything it hears and will try to make sense of it. Basically, though, it is still in dream mode but the dream sequences are not being filed into the correct folders, but into the 'conscious state' folders, so you experience something that feels like real life.

Look up HYPNOGOGIA. It is an interesting topic!
