I have had cholesteatomas in my ear and a some mastoid operation... (if that is relevant.. I don;t know) I went swimming when I wasn't meant to (i thought I had the all-clear for infections but it seems I haven't)... I sort of was getting abnormal discharge from my ear... So...
I went to the dr and got given co-amoxycillin (pretty strong antibiotics) capsules and sofradex ear drops. I have now finished the course of antibiotics and nothing happened. So I went back to the dr (a different one this time.. No reason apart from the fact that he was available at that time) and got given a different type of ear drop. Now my ear hurts to touch. I don't know what to do as the infection hasn't responded to anything yet, as far as I know. What should I do?!?? Thanks!
