i called my ob office today but it was closed so i left her a msg and im calling again in the morning. im changing tampons every 2 hours or so and wearing a pad because sometimes it leaks. the cramps im STILL haveing and i have no idea what is wrong with me. all i know is its not normal to bleed like this for 9 days

ok so i called mr dr just now. she said that after haveing a baby your first period is usually heavier and lasts longer. she said i also could be bleeding from breakthrough as well. she said that if im still bleeding by wednsday to call her.
oh and also she said tampons are fine.
so yay. i hope it stops...soon

How long did you bleed after Kristen was born? I think I bled for 4-5 weeks then started again at like 7 weeks. Breast feeding never kept my cycle away.

Ditto to me as well. The IUD has made my period extremely light, though. I hope it gets better for you soon, Suzy. That just stinks.
