Q: Callus Turns to Blister Type Infection

I have always had a large callus on the outside of both feet. A few days ago my right foot felt as if stone bruised, but I could not figure out why? Yesterday I felt the area and determined the callus was hard around the outside, soft in the center. Today it is totally soft, feels like a blister, and looks like it wants to burst. I am a type two diabetic, in case that may factor in.

Any ideas??
