hi, i came back from the chiropractor about a month ago, and heres what the fax said about my back:

"standing AP views of the lumbar and most of the thoracic spine show a very minimal scoliosis, convexity to the right, centered at T4-5. The alignment is otherwise normal and no development anomaly is noted.

impression: very minimal mid-thoracic dextroscoliosis"

what should i do to cure this fast ?

have you had an adjustment from the chiropractor yet? IMOH chiropractic care would be the best treatment for this, does the chiropractor who took the x rays impress you, because you need to see a good one, also you will need to refrain from any vigorous activity during the initial stage of your treatment. What symptoms are you having?

Hello Wretlerguy,

Obviously something isn't right. I am no doctor, however, I would suggest that you not wrestle until this issue is resolved. By continue to wrestle will most likely make things worse and your recovery take longer.

FIRST, forget the "cure this fast". That is not how the body heals itself with proper medical care. It take TIME and proper medical attention.

I would recommend that you seek the advice of a neurologist. If you are in an area that has a professional sports team, give their office and call and find out which doctor they use for spinal issues.

Hope all goes well, and no wrestling until a neurologist says its okay. PATIENCE is required.

Hi again wrestlerguy, i think that wresling is one of the worst things you could do to make your back worse, when scoliosis is very mild you might not be able to see it without x rays, try looking in the mirror without a shirt to see if your shoulders are level. It does not sound as if you are to bad but if it was me i would be proactive and try and nip it in the bud. I still rekon chiro would be best for this, but you could try the conventional route if you like, although your symptoms are fairly mild i doubt that they would perform an MRI, still a specialist may find something. If you see a chiropractor make sure he is a good one.

All the best
