So sorry to hear that Susie! As a potential knee replacement person, myself, I feel for you. Was you knee replacement partial? Complicated by infection? What has happened?

Pain 5 months after knee surgery
I'm having swelling, pain and loss of flexibility. I have pain in the outside of left knee the same knee I replaced and the same place I had it before the operation. I had complication after the operation and was told everything would be ok. Its 5 month from my operation date of January 6, 2009. I have been golfing alot and I'm sure that maybe part of the problem but not all of the problem if anyone has any info please advise.

I would say that golfing is a big problem...You are twisting your knee in this game...I am surprised that your Orthopedist let you do this at this time...I would talk to him to see what his thoughts are on this...

Good luck...
