He would only call him 'Dad' if that was how he was presented to him. If you call your friend by his name, then your son will also.

i do but i dont under stand though where he gets dad from. he never had a dad.
and yes hes always with me and cares alot for my son as there always around each other but my dad doesnt even stay with us and my friend is fosterd so i dnt know where he's gettin the word from??

If you don't mind this guy being the father figure in your sons life and you plan on him being around for a long time I wouldn't see a problem with it.. Its up to you.

My son is only 11 months so anyone male is considered dada to him... heck he even calls his grandma dada sometimes!

lol i supose i think i feel that i want john to be a part of his life but i dnt really want him to forget his real dad who faught soo hard for a cause we dnt understand. john knows that but yea i supose to be honest i might just let him call him dad. mite freak him out abit though lol

He is still young, when he gets older you can explain to him about his real dad. No one will ever replace his real father, as long as you talk about him and tell him about him often then there will always be a place for hhis 'real' dad and his 'dad' john..

lol yea i know i really shoud rethink it. but i think hes got a girlfriend that hes hiding from me since i told him im preg. hes my best friend n sometimes that works out better right?
