Masterbation frequency
Posted: 01-16-08 14:59pm

Rolling Eyes Hello all. If I were smarter, I'd go see my doctor about this problem I face but I do not have health insurance to pay for the visit. Every day of my life since I was only 15 years old I've learned the way to masterbate and to me it seems totally cool except the one main thing that I have difficulty with is when I'm making love to the point were you have the urge to pull out and release your ejaculate (sperm). That is my problem and since I masterbate everyday maybe twice a day I feel as though the only way for me to orgasm is with my own hand.

Is there anyone out there that can give me some honest helpful hints on how I can stop masterbating so much? I'm single and the only way for me to unleash the urge of my hornyness is to masterbate! Wink

How old are you, and how long have you been having sex?

and what exactly happens? You are too nervous to ejaculate, you can't keep an erection long enough to orgasm... what? And why do you feel you need to pull out to orgasm? Most men orgasm while they're thrusting....

Can you orgasm from oral or manual stimulation?

Sorry for so many questions Smile

My age is 27 years old, DOB 04/01/1980.... Had intercourse when I was 15 years old and that has declined since the year 1999. Sad huh? When I'm talking about pulling out, I mean during my incoming orgasm I need to take the condom off to releave myself with my hand.

Thanks for responding! Let me know your info if you know what I'm going through...

What happens if you keep going with intercourse instead of pulling out? I mean, why do you feel the need to do that?

The reason I'm asking is I suspect that it has nothing to do with your masturbation habits- or if it does have something to do with masturbation, it's a mental thing that you're more comfortable having an orgasm from your hand than intercourse. The reason I think that is I've read numerous medical sources saying that masturbation does not lead to sex problems, ed, pe, or anorgasms.

So, since you're single now, I'd say go for it and continue masturbating. When you have a sexual partner, there are a few things you could try, you could try and just force yourself to keep thrusting when you feel like you're getting close instead of pulling out and using your hands. Or, maybe an intermediate step would be for her to use her hands and finish you off? Do you think that would work?

Or just embrace it and do it how it feels good- if you're paying attention to the needs of the girl then she won't mind. Smile

Let me know what you think-

One other question- do you masturbate laying on your stomach? (Like, rubbing against a bed)

because if you do, I have an article for you...

but it didn't really sound like that's the case.

Thank you for responding~!! Your second question U asked is exactly what I do.... For some reason I cannot perform masterbation any other way!?!? Is this a big problem?
Before your second question you stated "Mental habit" of using my hand. To me using my hand even if I do have a partner seems like I feel good when I orgasm when I'm masterbating~!! Many of my past girlfriends have broken up with me since I cannot Ejaculate with them. Either its because they feel useless or whatever the cause may be. It makes me feel worthless myself, so I am worried that when I'm older I won't be able to impregnate my life time partner.

P/S= If you think that laying on my stomac while masterbating is wrong then I'd love to know why its a problem with my personal sex life....

Thanks again, and hope to read your next responce.

Hey! I don't have any problems with how you masturbate lol, but I know that some men have issues if they masturbate by laying on their stomach. Check this out-

http://healthystrokes.com/TMS. pdf

Read it over and see if you think it's you and if it will help.

I'm sorry girls have broken up with you over this, that's lame! But hopefully this article will help you.

Traumatic Masturbatory Syndrome is not very well researched or even accepted, but it sounds like what you're experiencing so it's worth a shot.

Just wanted to THANK YOU so very much for adding this link to your reply~!! Now I guess I understand why I've been so unsuccessful with the close women in my life. Thank goodness I searched for the eHealth forum....

Do you suggest that I should see my personal Doctor or a Psychologist about this matter since I actually believe that I do have TMS~?

Please inform me if you could....

well, the thing is that some doctors believe it exists and some don't. So if you see your doc, they may not know about it or be willing to talk about it. But yes, seeing your doc is always a good thing!

You could try google TMS and see if there are ways other people have learned to enjoy sex more. From what I read in that article, it starts with learning how to masturbate differently.

Wow...I was just wondering if it's possible for girls to suffer from Traumatic Masturbatory Syndrome. Because when I was younger I thought it felt good to rub against poles (I know this sounds strange...) and now when I masturbate, usually to orgasm or get close to an orgasm I have to be either on my stomach or rubbing against something... Is it possible that this could be a result of the same syndrome?

I honestly have no idea. Very little research has been done on it.

But here's my personal opinion-

when girls are young, most girls masturbate by rubbing on things- that is a really normal behavior.

also, many women have a hard time orgasming through masturbation and it takes a long time to learn ways to do it successfully. But if you think that might be it, take a look at the article and try and learn a new way to masturbate.

Do you have a vibrator? If not, I'd suggest getting one, lol, you might find that you solve your problem very quickly.

Okay, thank you. I just thought that maybe since I had been doing it like that for so long I might have damaged something!
