Hi everybody...

My husband and I decided to try for a baby December of 2006, thats roughly a year and a month ago. So far we have not been successfull. That December when we decided to try, I didn't finish my pack of pills, I just cut them right off...later I found out that's not good to do...so I ended up getting a second period that month which I read is normal when you don't finish a pack of pills. So, to say the least, I guess I screwed up my cycle pretty bad, so I know it should take a while for my body to get back on track...but...it's been a really long time now, and I'm getting really disapointed Sad
Last time I had my period was Dec 19, 2007...and I should be due for it again in the next couple days or so..hard to tell, cuz sometimes its regular and sometimes its not :S....but my breasts have been sooo soar and heavy and seem a little bigger (although i always get sore boobs about a week before my period) I am also have dull cramps in my lower abdomen aswell as a little lower backache (i know cramps are also a sign for PMS, but I only get cramps on the first day of my periods, not before) and I've also been quite tired a lot. I just hate this because I know how it can really get to your head and you can make yourself "feel" symptoms if you want it bad enough.

Ugh...right now I just feel like it's impossible for us to get pregnant. Has anyone else got a similar story as mine? Any comments, opinions, or suggestions?

Thank you so much. Oh and BTW I am 22 and my hubby is 25...

Hi there!
I'm so sorry you're feeling frustrated right now. Sad I don't have any children yet, and I won't be TTC for several months, so I'm certainly not an expert in this area; but I wanted to ask if you have been to see a doctor yet? I hear a lot that if you have not been able to conceive after a year or so, it's a good idea to have an overall checkup just to make sure everything is working okay. I have a good friend who has been TTC for over 2 years and she just discovered when she went to a fertility specialist that she has PCOS, which prevents her from ovulating on her own. I've noticed that a few of the ladies on the 'Getting Pregnant' have this condition too, so it doesn't seem uncommon. I would say that maybe it's time to make an appt. with your regular doctor for a checkup, and maybe she/he can refer you to a fertility specialist in your area. Smile

Good luck! Lots of baby dust to you!
