For the last month I've been experiencing weakness in my body. Lately I have had an extreme weakness feeling in my arm. It is so severe that I can't really lift it up at times. Everone keeps trying to tell me that it is caused by anxiety or depresion, but I know my body and I can't imagine this extreme symptom being caused by anxiety or depression. I feel positive that there has to be some physical diagnosable cause to this. Can anyone tell me if it's possible for depression to cause your arm to lose all strength? Has anyone else ever felt this? If it was from depression or anxiety, how do you know that it was?

Thanks for your help.
