Hi Everyone,

I just came across this site and was hoping someone out there might know of a really good doctor in the Boston area? I've been struggling with chronic back pain since I was 14 and I'm now approaching 31. For most of that time it was low back and hips, which I've been able to get under control a bit with trigger point therapy, exercise, etc. Now it's moved to the thoracic region and motility is very poor when I try to stretch and exercise. I'm having trouble sleeping because the pain is so bad when I move even a little bit.

I've gone through so many docs and tests. They finally said it was fibromyalgia, but I'm not sure I believe that. Seemed more that they just couldn't think of anything else it could be. My husband and I are hoping to start a family soon, but my pain really scares me. It's so frustrating to be young and in really good shape, but suffering all the time and feeling 100 on the inside.

If you read through this, thanks for "listening" and if you happen to know of a good specialist in the Boston area, I'd appreciate the recommendation.

Thanks,
Jenny

Hello Jerry,

Welcome to this forum and the wonderful people who post here and try to help others.

Fran, who posts on the Laser Spine Surgery thread goes to an excellent spinal surgeon in the Boston area. Hopefully she will see your post here. And I would suggest that you also post your request for a spinal surgeon in the Boston area on the LSS thread.

Take care. Stay in touch.
