This question wasn't directed towards me, but I thought I would give you my opinion In my house, sex was a normal thing, I have very young brothers and sisters and I knew where they came from. It was not a scary thing. It was something I knew I wanted to experience, just not with your average guy. Sex is something that I knew was special and shouldn't just be a random act with a random guy. It was just clear as day when I was ready. I didn't think twice, I knew I was with a man I loved and that was that. I didn't regret it, I didn't feel guilty...It was wonderful. I don't think that it is something that can be "taught" I think that it is a personal decision. I hope your daughter does wait, it is that much better when you do, but it is ultimately her decision.

When you want to, and you are well educated about std's and pregnancy and how to avoid them, and you are responsible and protect your body, you are ready!

You will KNOW when you are ready. Don't do it until you KNOW. You want this to be a special memory that will make you smile when you look back to remember it.

I would advise you to go ahead and get put on the pill or something. This way, when you DO decide to lose your virginity, you won't have to worry about getting pregnant. Also, keep some condoms so you can protect yourself against STDs. When you have sex with one person, you are having sex with every person that guy has ever been with. And the people they have been with, and so on.
Teenagers carry STDs and don't even know they have them. Chlamydia, Gonnorhea, and HPV (the virus that causes genital warts) are the most commonly caught STDs among people your age. BE SAFE!!!
