Caffeen
You want to stay away from high amounts of caffeen because this can affect the baby, and if I am correct, it can make it hard to conceave. So yes, you should stay away from those things. I heard chocolate is high in caffeen as well, though I can not say for sure. If I am wrong about this info, I am truly sorry, but I have heard this before, and that is why I am saying it. Caffeen raises your heart rate, and remember what affects you, affects the baby inside of you. You should make sure you are eating healthy. Good luck, and all the baby dust to all you ttc!

Try a fertility kit they work like a pregnancy kit and they are really accurate. We tried for 4 months to get pregnant with my daughter and used one of those the next month and we got pregnant...So I would invest in one of those...They aren't that much.

Anyway good luck and it will happen..Just don't stress about it...That does effect ovulation as well.

Hope this helps and good luck

Try not to get too discouraged. My name is amy, i'm 28 and married two years. I am eleven weeks pregnant and it was a complete shock!!! Has anybody thought of the effects of antibiotics and fertility? The reason I ask is because I was on bc and took antibiotics in feb and am now preg. This is my first preg and I find it interesting that antibiotics have such an effect....Just thought i'd pass it along, maybe fake a cold or something because more and more I am meeting people that this happened to, or people who never had a pregnancy and took antibiotics and "poof"...

Antibiotics make birth control ineffective, that is why you got pregnant. Antibiotics do not make it easier to conceive, they just make birth control ineffective.
Relax girls!!!!! It is most likely not going to happen if you stress about it and calculate times, and "do it" at certain times trying to conceive. Just relax and have fun Laughing

In the same boat
Hi all,
Ocindyz, I am also 26 and I know exactly how you are feeling...my period has been late this month for 7 days...I had all the early signs of pregnancy and my husband and I have been ttc for over a yr now....sooo frustrating! I think I just got my period this morning... its very light and kind of scanky like when you first start AF and Im hoping its just something normal about pregnancy but its likely Aunt Flow just got caught in some "heavy traffic" Sad
In december of last year I had to undergo a surgery for my uterine septum which was causing fertility difficulty... so hoping that this time we would be pregnant... I feel so lost and down... wors part is todays my birthday and I was hoping for a really special gift...Sad
