I know how you feel. I've always wanted
breast implants, but am too scared to get
them. I haven't found any really great
sites, but i'll keep looking.

A plastic surgeon should be board
certified by the american board of plastic
surgery. By choosing a plastic surgeon
certified by the abps, you can be assured
the doctor has graduated from an
accredited medical school and completed at
least five years of additional residency.
To be certified by the abps, a doctor must
also practice plastic surgery for two
years and pass comprehensive written and
oral exams. The exact name of the board
is important because there are other
boards with similar names that do not
indicate the same level of competency.
Your surgeon should complete a residency
in plastic and reconstructive surgery
accredited by the accreditation council on
graduate medical education (acgme). In
addition, the surgeon should be
comfortable performing the procedure in
which the patient is interested. Having
the right credentials does not necessarily
mean the doctor is skilled in specific
types of surgery.
It is important that your doctor has
hospital privileges to perform the
proposed procedure, even in-office
procedures. Hospitals give doctors
privileges to do procedures that fit under
their training guidelines.
How safe is plastic surgery?
All surgical procedures have risks and
possible complications, and your doctor
will advise you about your specific
procedure. In general, cosmetic plastic
surgery is only performed on healthy
patients, and healthy patients tend to
have fewer complications.

How does that laser surgery work for
stretchmarks and would you happen to know
about how much that would cost?

I would like to get lipo- suction on my
sides, I kinda have a little bit of love
handles that botthers me alot. . . And
ive always wanted implants.. My mom got
them actually (and shes very straight edge
so its kinda surprising) but anyhow she
likes them alot better.. But at the same
time. .. There so expensive and u can
run into alot of probs with plastic
surgery.. Anyone can mess up, even if
their great plastic surgions.

That laser surgey costs between 400-1000
per session. Breast implants are
exspensive!! I would have guessed like
3000!

Lol! Damn! Before readin this the only
thing I ever thought about gettin plastic
surgery on was my nose (i dont now but I
used to hate it!) but now.. Crap I want
laser surgery for my tummy tuck and to
remove stretchmarks... Gee! Lol!
Oh and I was watching tv and this girl got
her breast implants about a month after
she had a baby but it was 4 months later
and she was still leaking milk (she wasnt
breastfeeding but I guess the breast
implants did somethin) so alls I know is
wait after a month lol!

Id probably wait more than a month. Plus
it is different for me cause I have
c-sections and that is considered major
surgery so hey might make me wait for
awhile.I really think im going to do it
though!
