I am just getting very depressed and i think i have a problem eating! I can go for days without eating a thing! I just dont know what is wrong with me??? I have lost a substantial amount of weight in the past couple of months i went from a size 11 jeans to a size 5!!! I just dont know what to do anymore? I am scared first of all cause i never thought this would happen to me? I just am never hungry anymore and my boyfriend will be like oh you need to eat! he says that all the time! but how can i if im not hungry??? I go to a methadone clinic for addiction from heroin so I have been dealing with that and they even said something to me about my weight! I have never talked to ANYONE about this so I am definitely scared. I have always been thin but I dont know this time??????

Are you in a support group for your addiction? Are you coming off of the heroin right now? Are they giving you another medication in place of the herion for now? There could be a number of things going on. I asked if you were in a support group because perhaps other people can relate to what you are experiencing. Support groups are wonderful because you don't feel so alone and they are supposed to be completely confidential.

Hi
Let's deal with the "what so". The what so for you now is: you don't feel hungry. Is this right. Do you get thirsty then? If you so, avoid soft drinks or any gassy drinks and coffee/tea, but go for some FRESH vegetable /fruit juice like carrot, celery, apples, melons, papaya - mix with clean water. Or warm vegetable brothto start with.

cheers,

hi
in addition to my earlier post, i would suggest you consider take on getting some fresh air, morning sunshine, light stretching and walking exercise if you have not been exercising for some time. A good sweat out thru exercises could help stimulate your digestive system and blood circulation. Do this with fun, ease and grace.

suzy, just apeice of info, you cant tell a person struggling with eating disorders to just eat, unfortunately it doesnt work like that, i wold suggest seeking help for the eating and such, it could be the meds messing with u making u not hungry but u have lost alot of weight in a short amount of time wich can damage your health, i would se your regular dr and get a referral to see someone who specializes in eating disorders or food and nutrition.
