For about a year now i have had this pain when i breathe, twist bend over. It started last july '06 when i worked for a block mason, but i would have my dad pop my back and the pain would go away and it stayed away until october, when in PE we started to do 12 lbs medicine ball throws,

then i had one dropped on the top of my head from about 3 feet...i heard a crunch, had a bad headache for a few days....well about a week or so later i got that agonizing sharp pain in my traps/spine....and since the pain hasn't went away...

there is a spot on one of my disks where if i push it there is a sharp pain....the pain also feels in my vertebre not so much the muscle. I've went to a chiropractor 3x, he just popped my back and gave me an ultra sound...but i can pop my whole back if needed, so i quit going....ive laid off working out my back for almost a month still the pain is there....im going to an orthopedic Dr this friday....

is there any idea what i might have done? its beyond annoying and i'm afraid if i keep staying active i'm going to hurt myself more....I just turned 18 btw and i have been dealing with the pain since i was 16 summer of '06 off and on until october of ''07

thank you
Kyle

Hello Kyle,

You have had some bad encounters.

No more Dad popping yor back, no more a chiro popping your back. Kyle, you are way overdue to seek the advice of a neurologist/spinal surgeon. No I am not a doctor, however, I would highly recommend that you seek the advice of a spinal doctor. And don't delay. Find the best one you can. In fact after you see the first one go to the next spinal doctor on your list and get a 2nd opinion.

I am very concerned because you have waiting so very long for medical attention, and I don't mean popping your back.
