I wake up in the morning with a severe sick nauseous feeling thoughout my whole body and then have to get up and have a bowel movement. i am always retching and feeling severely nauseous before i have it. after the bowel movement i will get a severe sore feeling right the way up through my intestines which is so bad i can hardly move or know where to put myself and have to lie in bed for a few hours until the sick nauseous pain subsides. i also feel the pain and hot feeling in my arms and body.
can anyone tell me what this may be? ive had it for about 6 weeks now and docs don t know whats wrong. waiting for a gastro doc but will be another two weeks and getting desperate as so ill in mornings.
in the evenings i can start to eat and feel better, altho often the dull ache will stay in my intestines all day.

Sickness and nausea with bowel movement
Same here. Going on 4 months since the first attack.
Was able to manage symptoms by eating smaller more frequent (and healthy) meals.
Also used herbal supplementation to improve bowel and liver function.
And finally, to minimize the panic attacks that came along with the nausea and bowel attacks, I supplemented to support my adrenals.
Only been a couple of months (took a couple of months of testing and process of elimination to identify the issue), but symptoms have not been as frequent nor as severe.
Essentially, I was able to get my life back.

What supplements did you take? Have the doctors been able to work out what the problem is?

nausea before bm - IBS
I am not a doctor but I have been doing a lot of research on this as I am also experiencing these symptoms. It seems that along with 13 million other Americans I have IBS and there there is no cure. The best relief appears to be increasing soluble fiber and exercise. Drink lots of water!

I also have this sick nauseous feeling in the mornings--tried everything and been to renown endrocronologist with little results. Feel you have to treat yourself with whatever works--some ideas--adrenal support, multi-vitamin, especially B vitamins such a Vitamin B-5, and go to local health food store--sometimes they are smarter than your doctor. Mine has been going on for a year now--I have always thought it was keyed to gall bladder, but all tests are negative. I have LOST A LOT OF CONFIDENCE IN MEDICAL PROFESSION.

Nausea and vomiting with bowel movement
I have had very similar symptoms going on my second year now!! The only differences seem to be I do not have the stomach pains and the other symptom I didnt see anyone mention is that, in my situation, if I do not get to a bathroom and release the bm I WILL vomit and if I do vomit I will vomit until my shoes come out of my mouth and then dry heave for almost an entire day. This makes things a lot worse because nerves can cause nausea and whenever I start to feel sick I get so nervous that Im going to vomit (followed by non stop dry heaving for a day) that I add to the nauseous feeling simply by worrying about it Sad If I do get to a bathroom and have the bm it still takes me laying down for about 2 hours afterwards in order to feel better Sad Im up for anything.....its really interfering with my life to the point of costing me one job already. I also should mention that 99% of the time this happens to me in the morning time, which i find strange.

Grapefruit Seed Extract
I get the same thing. I'm going to try "Grapefruit Seed Extract" 125mg from Nutribiotic as it kills bacteria/Worms/Yeast/Fungal Infections in your stomach, waiting for it to arrive from Ebay. I'm hoping it will make me feel better. If I get "Die off" Symptoms after a few days of taking it I'm guessing I had too much bad bacteria. Maybe it is Toxins from the bad bacteria as they die before bowel movements that gives the nauseous feeling? Not sure. I get nauseous from everything in general though. My Mother has IBS as well but there is some bad bacteria that cause very similar symptoms to IBS.

On another note I hope the grapefruit seed extract helps with food intolerance which might also be a problem. I was tested for only being Allergic to Grass Pollen but I could also have an intolorence to some foods which don't show up as an allergy.

If Grapefruit Seed Extract doesn't work I'll go see my Doctor. I've always gotten nauseous from everything but thought it was just how I was or maybe I was over thinking it..now I'm not so sure.

Naseau and bowel reply
Please read this full article to find answers that can be relative depending in each situation. It helped me find answers and the language to describe my ongoing issue. Personally I cut meat out of the equation for about 1 year which helped but due to other deficiencies I am back to eating meat but small bites and chewing extensively.

the article you mention regarding bowel problems
hi...2 years later and here i am again...lol...still having same symptoms..I feel like im haunting myself! ha! I want to read the article you mentioned but do not see a link?? I have figured out that gas has something to do with it because ive been taking these anti gas pills in the morning and sometimes if i can get a big burp (sorry for the frankness) up the nausea will slowly start to go away...not always though, but it has helped me out more than a few times. I know this may sound dumb but it almost feels like there is some big gas pocket which is pressing up on some part of my stomach or something that is causing me to feel nauseous BUT what I dont understand is why when I do end up vomiting I dry heave terribly for almost 24 hours. I remember many years ago if I vomited that was it, maybe i would vomit once more or whatever, but it was never something like this...i mean this is gut wrenching dry heaving where im laid out on the floor with a barrel...this is embarrassing but the reason I am on the floor is because I am dry heaving with so much force I will have bladder accidents on top of it...oh yes, its a real pretty sight !! lol honestly i think when im in that situation if a fire broke out in the house id probably burn to death because i just literally cant move. I thank God at least I figured out it was related to (lack of) bowel movements because this used to happen to me at least once or twice a month (the actual vomiting/dry heaving for 24 hours) now, although I still get very nauseous about 3-4 days per week, the incidence of me actually vomiting and becoming basically incapacitated, has dropped significantly since I started taking Miralax every day which keeps the bowel movements pretty regular...goodness forbid if I miss a couple days and do not have one! I come soooo close to vomiting its terrifying. I also found walking rapidly around my house, back and forth, looking like an idiot, helps sometimes too...maybe it "gets things moving" ???

looks like we both have the same issue. been dealing with this for 7 yrs. mild at first and gradually worse. i also find miralax helps but doesn't fix it. i wanted to know if you also experience the pain and nausea attacks after orgasm? not to be personal but i do and wondered if you also did. this was something that slowly developed and got worse as the other symptoms did. sure doesn't make live any more bearable Sad

I just typed a lengthy response but my phone deleted it so I'll just write what I've been doing to help. I started doing 2L water enemas daily. I have to start with 1L water (filtered, not distilled) until I can do a full 2L. Afterwards I do a rectal implant of 1 tsp probiotic. I use inner-eco brand coconut water kefir (refrigerated). I take 2tbsp probiotic before bed and in the morning. This helps me achieve a dosage of about 400 billion live cultures per day. I've been taking veg enzymes with meals and have noticed improvement in digestion. I've been staying on a raw vegan diet. I took a road trip to NYC for four days two weeks ago and didn't have any trouble (I brought my enema kit, probiotics, and healthy foods). Last night I ate cooked veggie ramen with kimchi and seaweed salad and now find myself sick. I also didn't make time to do a water enema yesterday. Woke up feeling ill and had a bm, took 2 tbsp probiotic with coconut water (Trader Joe's organic) to help my stomach. For colon cleansing products, try optimalhealthnetwork.com. For making your own water kefir, go to yemoos.com. Hope this message finds you well~
