I’m on a course of Ciprofloxacin for a urinary tract infection. It’s currently been eight days and the original symptoms seem to be gone, but on the fifth day I got an ache above my right testicle. The testicle itself has become tender and mildly painful to touch. There is also a hot sensation in the scrotum. From what I read so far, I assume its Epididymitis.
Is it normal for Epididymitis or whatever this may be to set in after being on a course of antibiotics for several days? The infection wasn’t STI related if that makes a difference to the diagnosis.

I’ve got enough antibiotics for another two days and I’m scheduled for an appointment with my doctor on Friday. Should I go to him sooner? The pain hasn’t got worse over the days I've had it, but it hasn’t gone away either so I don’t know what to do.
