Hello girls. Sorry I haven’t been on in a few days, I have been having really bad contractions and have been trying to relax and in between make sure everything is perfect for my princess! I am 35 weeks today, as most of you know the baby is about 5lbs, so the doctor said that if I do deliver early, and probably will, she will be just fine. That was a huge relief to hear. Lol I got another one!!! Laughing I can’t wait! They are starting to regulate, they are about every 10-13 minutes, lasting about 45 seconds. I am so happy, but scared out of my wits! I don’t know what to do. I keep thinking about everything, labor, delivery, being a mom, it all scares me half to death. Anyone know how to get rid of these thoughts?

I am just scared that I will mess up or hurt her or something. I mean I know that she is just a baby and I have been around kids all my life, but this is so different, she is mine and everything I do, say or act upon will effect her forever. This is so nerve racking! Thank you for your reply! Glad I am not the only one! Lol

Yes I was dilated to 2 cms and 40-45% effaced at last wednesday so they put me in the hospital for a few days gave me mag sulfate to slow it down and gc to speed up her lung growth. Thursday I went back to the er, and I had dilated another cm, so I got another dose of mag sul and was only there for 32 hours. I called my doc this afternoon and left a message because they are getting more intense they are between 5-7 minutes apart, but closer to 7 minutes and are lasting 55 seconds. So I know they are getting more persistent but I don’t want to do anything til they calls me back.
