Q: Home Today

Ava had a bad night with the fever. She was up at 5:30, so I rocked her and she fell back to sleep for about 30 minutes. She was burning up and wouldn't go with my mom for me to get ready. Finally she went and I got dressed and went to work to get my things together. I had to get my lessons organized and my materials ready for the subsitute.
Then I had to go to the store to get more tylenol and motrin.
When I got home my mom said she slept again for 30 minutes after my mom rocked her when I left. Her fever's gone, but now she has come chicken pox bumps. I don't know what to do about that now.

So, I'm home with her today.

Thanks guys. She still has her top molars coming out. I thought all four were out, but there's not. The bottom two are completely out, it's just the top. She may have slept through the night once since Christmas with the virus, her bottom molars, now fever and top molars. Once those tops ones come out and her fever's gone, we should be fine again.
She doesn't want to eat today.

Sorry I forgot to add this......what the heck is the point of getting a vaccine for chicken pox if they are just gonna end up with them anyways? Maybe the doctor shouldn't have given it to her so close after having a virus....her immune system maybe wasn't ready for it and that's why she is having this kind of reaction. Just a thought Smile
