Q: Connection From Sinusitis Maxillaris With the Neck!

Hello to all,

I have every day (since very long time) eyes and face pains. On the bottom of the sinusitis max. is swollen mucus membrane. All is dry, nothing flows away. I can't sneeze and feel terrible pressure on the cheek bones and eyes. In the morning can't open my eyes.
Doctors say, all my pains are from the neck muscles. CT of sinusitis shows Haller's Cell and x-rays show swollen mucous membrane.
About neck muscles: there is only Levator Scapula, that I have diagnosis. The muscle going down from the skull to the scapula is always swollen on the scapula and very hard, like a stone.
Many years ago I had complete x-rays of my spine and there are mentioned two ligaments: ligament nuchae and long ligament until THVII.

Do you know anybody that has or had similar pains?

I don't have neck pains, but have muscle and neuralgia (atypical, occipital and suprascapular) pains.

Thank you for any answer.

What are you looking for? Treatment alternatives? Experiences? Can you be more specific, please?

I do have the same symptoms. My neck is really tight and even when i lay down on my back i can feel the sinus pressure cause the back of my neck is compressed on something. It's very frustrating because all the doctors said im crazy because i dont have a sinusitis or neck tumor cause CT scan is clear and x-rays are clear too.. anyway i dont beleive it and im going for a MRI soon. I'm seeing a chiro and he is sayin that all this pain is due a my upper cervical spine... go see a chiro if he can help...
