Hi guys...

I fractured my fibula sometime in early November and had a plaster cast on my leg until the 21st December.

I have been walking on my leg since about the 10th December or so and all has been fine up until now. My ankle is still very swollen and it does cause me a little discomfort. I don't suffer from much pain and I do have a range of movement.

Is this normal so late after the injury? I'm a semi-professional athlete so I obviously need my fitness and I'm worried my ankle is going to hold me back for even longer than it already has. I really need to start running/getting fit again soon. Should I/Can I?

What advice do you suggest? Any help owuld be very much appreciated!

Thanks!
